Compassionate Equipping
Western Christians and churches strongly support believers in the aftermath of traumatic events. We can collect and send supplies. We pray and stay aware of developments affecting the care of suffering people. Many traumatic events are one-and-done—natural disasters, deaths, and other events that have a defined period of onset and intensity.
But persecution isn’t a one-and-done event.
It’s ongoing and long-term. There are no methods by which we care for people in their crisis. Luke Alliance has leaned into this gap of caring for people experiencing crisis in the moment.
Luke Alliance, together with support from people like you, is caring for people in the midst of suffering in multiple ways:
Our Project 11:33 fund helps the most at-risk victims of persecution to get to safety.
We plan a retreat for persecuted Asian pastors to meet together for training, encouragement, and discernment as they experience persection
We provide referrals to counselors and coaches through our Caring for the Persecuted Fund to meet regularly with pastors as they process their experiences.
We raise awareness in the U.S. so churches know how to pray and act as they feel led.
